Artwork
When you record with Legacy Productions you get free graphic design for your CD. We make it easy for you to get a CD
that looks how you want it to look. You decide how involved you want to be. You can submit your
own art, share ideas, or let us create a design for you.
If you prepare your own artwork, keep images bright and clear and in high resolution (600+ dpi). Click here
to download design templates. Email your finished artwork to us at least two weeks before your recording session so that we can make
any necessary adjustments before production.
If you want us to prepare your artwork, contact us with your general ideas for the
look of the CD. Tell us if you want to have certain colors, images, or text. For example, you might say "Our school colors
are red and blue. Our mascot is a falcon. Please put a falcon on the front, use red and blue, and put our group picture on the
inside". Check our our catalog below for ideas. If you like, you can refer us to one of our previous designs as a starting
point for your design.
Email us any images or text you would like to include. Keep images bright and clear and in high resolution (600+
dpi). If you include text, type it exactly as you want it to appear in print. To prevent accidental misspellings, we do not edit
provided text.
Email your requests and materials to us at least two weeks before your recording session so that we have time to prepare
your design. Your recording session is the ultimate deadline. If we do not hear from you by the session that is okay; our
graphic designer will start the design on his own.
If an album is delayed, artwork is typically the culprit. You can help make sure you get your album on
time by sending your requests early. If we have trouble reaching you as the deadline approaches, we will use our discretion to make
your CD look great.
